Change of the Seasons
The rain patters softly on golden leaves.
Twigs crunch under small feet.
The sounds are muffled by fog.
It wraps around the trees, like giants wearing capes.
A dim light filters down, lighting the damp woods.
The light grows stronger, the rain weaker.
Birds begin to sing softly.
Bugs chirp in chorus.
Leaves waft to the ground gently.
The sun glows softly through autumn leaves.
A last glory before winter.
