 Surface and Deep

Two sides that never meet, Two lengths that never reach
And yet the echo around, For the Perennial struggle Abound
The Banter continues.. for who is good …You or I…As they sing …
You are Surface I am Deep, I am Surface You Are Deep

It all begins with me….says the surface…
It ultimately reaches me …closes Deep…
I bear the brunt as always….quivered surface…
That finally hurts me….shivered Deep…

You are superficial…quipped Deep…
Is that a crime…. snipped Surface
That's my characteristic…That's naturally aligned…
Whatever dirt you keep within…
I ensure a smokescreen…
You take a long sigh and then give a small smile…
Till then…O Mister let me know who hides the guile…

You are hideous…Surface was serious…
Why are you curious….Deep sounded Devious…
Whatever you throw down…and want to disown…
You very well land them on me…What you are saying lady…
I have what you send me…dirt or mirth…slur or pearl…
While you flirt around with new songs and sound…I am the keeper…
You face the new I face the old…you get the new… I manage the old…

At this Surface was Quiet…and Deep let a resonant laugh….
Surface was jolted … her cheeks got red...Me God Deep is on a mad spree...
Tell me Sir…what is it that your remembered…that you are sending me tremble…
He took a break…from his shake…and said…
Lady…we have a connection…However far our destination…
Surface was surprised with this sudden affection…
Yes that's the word… you got it right…Deep smiled…you get affected …
Another Guile from a mile…Surface knew trouble was about to bubble…

Hey Deep Stop that Romeo and Juliet…
Somehow I see a very cunning net…
Why change stance... and include romance…
If you are tired for the day…we will discuss another day…
But this act will not impact …so go back to your slumber queen…
While I save you from shivering with my lovely golden sheen ….

Since you are talking literature…and an old Shakespeare prose mutiny…
Lady let me make you aware…am no romantic bluff …that too of tragic stuff…
All that was resultant of a reaction …that showed on your physical faction…
You may carry your bling…while I sing my hymns of Vulcan…as I seethe within…

Is that a threat…of a future explosion?
You bet…Pop came the reply…
So what will be new…? When have I been spared?
Sorry but you have an impression of a fallacy…
My Vanity Bag keeps a concealer… What other way I show the cool…
When I know you wait for a doom with your gloom…
I hide your fume with my plume…I am not afraid…You may dare…

This show pussy…looks gutsy…Deep Chuckled…
Don't you worry…I am in no hurry…
Sometimes I have taken centuries…
While I stay young and agile…You will wither with time…

I do not wither…I exfoliate…
I change skins…to cover your aging desire…
All that you keep mired inside…ire or fire…
Why should I worry…I enjoy the sun…the moon…the stars…
I live for the day… for I know not when you would take it all away…

Hypocrite…you only belong to one creed…Said Deep…
Discreet…is my creed…for I do not want to be your mirror…
I cannot reflect all that you carry within and still seal…
You hate to emote for your own insecurities…
I cannot pay them obituaries by being what you are…
Look within…before you deflect…I take the blame while you carry the fame…

My core…has richness of the universe…
All the precious and umm the delicious belong to me…
Oh the Proud…while you may shroud…all that inside…
The incisive search of the humane kind…
Pierces my Being everytime… The cut and the drill
While I squeal…in search of your hidden raw…

I am the soul…I am the soul…Loud was Deep
Oh Yeah… you are the Soul …You are the Soul…
I give you body…and a new goal…
You remain the same…I give a new name…
Whatever the century whatever the time zone…
I would be there always always…so that you never forget your way.…
