SUNRISE PRAYER

As the sun rises over the horizon,

It streaks the sky with gold.

It is the break of a new dawn,

So I have heard it told.

As the sun takes shape,

As a large orange ball.

Thats when I think of God,

And how he created it all.

With a touch of his hand.

He created the sky,
 and land.

I want to thank you Lord,

For all the things you've done.

Thank you for my daughters,

Thank you for my sons.

Forgive us of our sins,

Make our hearts pure as doves.

Protect and keep us Lord,

Surround us with your love.
