Heaven's Eternal Being 2000

No words can truly say,
what I gratefully know today,
of the sacrifice you made for me,
when you chose to be nailed to a tree.

For a choice you surely did make,
my soul you could not forsake,
a soul that has been spiritually lead,
but without your sacrifice eternally dead.

Many words are written to tell the story,
of heaven's everlasting glory.
Songs are sung, Bible verses read,
with only earthly understanding instead.

How can earth know where eternity lies,
by gazing at merely earthly skies,
or seeing only through earthly eyes,
even with all of humanities cries?

Revelations have been seen,
visions told, prophecies gleaned,
all telling of a sacrifice between,
death and heaven's eternal being.

once to take away the sins of many
people and He will appear a second time,
not to bear sin, but to bring salvation
to those who are waiting for Him."
