AFRICAN BIRTH CANAL....

As she swayed
Her caramel mocha waves into my life
My eyes fixated on her rhythms
Her lips pursed into a wordless gesture
Investing interest into my gaze
Was she the phenomenal woman Maya had forewarned me about?
The prodiagal daughter
Typographical error in the Bible
For she was the one to foresee 9/11
And she, The Mother,
The Daughter,
The Holy Ghost?
Without first notice,
I pursued her in my mind
Loosening inhibition by the the straps
And engaged myself in clever conversation
As we talked and walked among constellations
She showed me Orion's cadence
And what the Big Dipper dipped into
She took me on a magic carpet ride through Darfur
And through her, I saw her turmoil
Pain
Absolution
She showed me crimson waves,
Running through once-Nubian paradises
Taking me into underground railroads with no tracks
To faux tracks in European mockery of
The ghetto princess' hairdo
She brought me through Compton
And shot me drive-by glances
Took me to Watts
And we danced in that riot all night
Like Zulu tribal dances among the smoking buildings
She brought me to the hookah bars
Where I smoked peace pipes with Marley and Pocahontas-like
Streetwalkers
As they laid me back
And fulfilled their food-stamped worths
By making a quick buck per fuck
Pay-Per-Screw
She showed me the desolation in their eyes
The desperation
The lack of faith in a higher power
Because all that was there
Were federal notes
And a lack thereof...
I opended my eyes,
And found that they were already open
As she sauntered towards me
Opened her cherry and asked,
"Do you still want a bite?"
Her offer was tempting,
But her experiences understandable
So I walked away,
Empty-handed...
Full-minded...
