Sarah For My Daughter Sarah
who has given me so
much inspiration
I remember the day
they placed you in
my arms
Seems as if it were
only yesterday
Such a small, beautiful,
spirited infant you were
Eyes as blue as the ocean
is deep, hair as black as
a ravens feather
My heart welled with pride
and joy to know that I was
your mother and I had the
pleasure to call you
daughter
I wanted so much for you
but ended up nothing
short of disappointing
you instead
You have grown up and
moved on with your life
Here I set with my fond
memories and wishes that
it could once again be
yesterday
