Lost I am lost upon the shores
of these sidewalks.
Lost to those that pass
by without so much as
a caring glance.
They sneer at me in my own
home, yet they are the ones
that come here every day and
litter my beloved places.
If only the masses could
understand that I would never
think to be so crude.
I only ask that you be kind
and thoughtful when you pass thru
your door to mine.
