I Believed
As my life has passed I have meet many people. I had thought I'd known love, then the day came that you became apart of my world and my life changed. Things that had for so long that held no meaning now did hold the meaning of a brighter tomorrow. Everything was shiny and beautiful once again. It was as if I was seeing life through a child's eyes. I wanted to live and explore, to experience life with you, through you, and around you. Then as quickly as you came you were gone, without explanation or reason. Darkness once again reins here in my soul. Meaning no longer plays a role. It's a farce just out of my reach. If only you could have believed in me as I believed in you. G. Williams
