Prayer
Prayer is a most magnificent gift from
God. I can use it in so many ways. I
can pray for comfort and joy. They are
all but a few choice words away.
I can pray for sunny days and there
are times I can pray for rain. I can pray
that God will spare my family and me
from hunger, sorrow and pain.
I can pray for forgiveness, but much
more than that I can pray to learn how
to forgive. I can ask the good Lord to
bless all my children and to give them all
He can give.
I can pray for a world of peace. I can even
pray for love. I can pray for those who
deserve it the least...that they, too, can
change their ways and see the light from
above.
I can pray for mercy and I can pray for wealth.
I can go in just about any direction I want to go.
I can pray for a long life and excellent health, or
I can pray for compassion for those I don't know.
And I do.
