Loose Screws?

While attempting to write a
tongue and cheek piece I
settled on my own weary
neck.

I broke it a few years ago.
I don't talk about it much,
but this time I said, hell...
what the heck.

It happened on a two story
ladder at a high school in
northeast Texas. The fall taught
me the limits of excruciating
pain and how very fragile the
neck is.

It is now wrapped around
with an expensive piece of
titanium, along with 6 quarter
inch screws to fasten the wrap
around my spine just below my
lower cranium.

At times I wonder if this stuff
will ever rust...or worse yet...
will the screws start backing out?

Then I would next time suggest
that the doctors could be at their
best to use super glue or liquid nail...
you know what I'm talking about?

I can get the material at Wal-Mart
or Home Depot...with my debit card,
all with a money- back guarantee.

I would volunteer for this procedure if
I knew it could cut short this painful
misery.

The idea doesn't seem that far-fetched,
and it may seem that my little elevator
doesn't quite make it to the top.

Because the lift travels up and down my
spine and when it reaches the neck
area is when those damn little screws
causes it to stop.
