Visions Resurrected

Visions of snowflakes,
Gently falling down,
Swirling all around,
As they softly touch the ground,
Gives relief on a hot summer day,

I can almost hear them falling,
Nothing like the summer rains,
But like a peaceful deafening silence,
That's rather awkward to explain,

With my vivid imagination,
In this swealtering heat of time,
I conjure up these chilly visions,
To cool and satisfy my mind,

And once a year when the Old Man arrives,
Bringing cold and freezing winter rain,
Not to no one but my own suprise,
I resurrect visions of summers past again.
