The Giants of Lebanon

Lebanon,... Oh Lebanon!
What have you done to
provoke the anger of Almighty
God?

You have not heeded to His
calling because the symbols of
your greatness...your majestic
cedars... are falling, feeling
the wrath of His iron rod?

You have allowed Satan's lot
to occupy your land for
reasons the whole earth and
Heaven cannot understand.

You allow Evil to foment on
your soil among the innocent,
thus transforming thy beauty
into rubble and spoil. You are
transcendent!

Lebanon,...Oh Lebanon!
Do you feel your redemption
drawing nigh, ... as terror rains
down upon thy people from
beyond the southern sky?
