Happy Fourth of July from the USA Today is the fourth of July, 2006
Independence Day in America,
Freedom from oppression it symbolically depicts,
B-52's are crisscrossing among the states,
With a tour de force it magnificently demonstrates,
The unparalleled strength of its mighty military,
At a time when North Korea is shooting
giant bottle rockets into the Sea of Japan,
So, as the world turns, happy independence
day, man…from the USA.
Sadam Hussein is still not dead, yet
In his barrister pool, a few have already
met their final demise…less we forget,
Ben Laden the coward tries to rule from afar,
Using suicidal maniacs to help fight his war,
That means justice is wanting even in far away places,
The Devil's got his grip on the horrors which it faces,
Let us enrich uranium for all…you know, in the name of peace,
We can then dole it out to anyone who deserves it the least,
Sometimes it is just more than this ‘ol boy can stand,
So, as this cockeyed world turns, happy independence
day, man…from the USA.
