The mystery of love

Do you think anyone can define the word love, because i cant can you?
Is it real or delusional, a fantasy, or maybe its emotions over
exaggerated made in to something powerful and mysterious.
Many believe Love is what i call lust finding someone really attractive, to the point its almost obsession, "love at first sight" they claim.

Reading the bible love is stressed to be a much stronger bond then lust, rather like the bond between a mother and child, one would die for the other, the Bible emphasis the sacrifice and trials in love.

So before we have been through trials and made sacrifices for one another, how do you know its love?
That the feeling you feel for your partner is equal,do you do what many do? just except that person has chose to be with you even if its not for life and its not real?
Take any heart that is offered to you because your afraid you may never find love? so at least at times you wont be lonely.
