Doing vs. Being

Hey Fam,

I wanted to put these thoughts out there for you guys to ponder on:

Can a person genuinely "Do" courageous things without "Being" Courageous first?

Can a person genuinely "Do/Say" wise things if they themselves aren't?

Let's just throw another out there to drive my point home:
Can a person's consistent efforts of "Doing" righteous/just things matter to The Kingdom of Heaven if they themselves are NOT Genuine?

I ask that you allow these questions to seep into your heart to reveal its true nature.

The Biblical conflicts between Jesus The Christ and those affiliated with Religious Orders (The Pharisees and Sadducees) come to mind. In fact, I was reading Mark 12, when the Spirit put this on my heart.

While the Pharisees/Sadducees prided themselves on their "righteous/just/holy" deeds, Jesus simply WAS and still IS ALL of those things and more!!  Despite their religious attributes, NONE of what was said or done reached their hearts. Meaning, it wasn't their True Nature and that's why they failed to recognize/accept The Christ.

In John 14:6, Jesus The Christ refers to himself as: "I AM the way, the truth and the life!"  This verse is among the many Declarations The Christ Himself had made.

From what's written above, it's evident that one can't genuinely "Be" one thing and "Do" another.  We are called to be Single-Minded people. Yet, a person's Double-Minded nature will always be revealed in due time and it's up to us to accept it. This goes back to "knowing people by their fruits."   Just because a fruit might "appear" ripe and delicious,  doesn't always make it so.

Those who are NOT Genuine in All things, will Always reject TRUTH and those who bring it. That's why the Pharisees and Sadducees rejected Christ.

He WAS/IS TRUTH and was/is rejected by those who hate it. They partake of Religious Ordinances to cross off their check lists of "do's," never truly intending to "become" a better person for it. And here's a lil badly kept secret, even when you strive to "BE" better, You still fall sometimes. That's when Humility, Grace and Mercy become your Bestie.

So many are deceived into thinking that doing a good deed with a jacked-up heart, makes you good with The Most High God. When you intentionally allow Christ into your heart, He will Transform you into a New Being. This New Being is then made Perfect, ONLY Through Christ. This New Being will then be given Supernatural Powers and Gifts to do what those in the flesh CAN'T!! That's one of the many reasons why We Are Hated. For Whatever/Whoever You ARE...You DO!

Bottom line is STOP trying to "Do" in the Wong Spirit...Let the Right Spirit allow you to "Be."

Peace,
