The Season's Day**

Lord, the day brims with new life,
it's brilliance and beauty has no price,
stirring energy the season awakens,
it's surging forth is not mistaken.

The power of earth's renewal seen all around,
exploding from every crevice in the ground,
draping tangled masses of urban blight,
with every shade of green's delight.

Something different hovers in the air,
newness surrounds sameness everywhere,
moving souls to search for more,
not really certain what it looks for.

Today life's renewal abounds,
dancing among cities and towns,
that pass along the way,
silently celebrating the season's day.

Lamentations 3:25-26  "The Lord is good to those
who wait for Him, to the person who searches
for Him.  It is good to hope and wait
patiently for the Lord's salvation".
