The Darkness Is So Bright
[1st v:] The rain is falling again Slowly tearing down The walls all around So once again It can begin.... Everything you want to hear Is drowned out By the silence Of not knowing Enlightened by what you hide By what you fear Running So slowly To get Nowhere ....fast Holding on To what is so make believe Thinking it can.... Will last Now you can face Just what you want So.... So easily traced [1st ch:] The darkness Is so bright Just enough light To see What you want to believe Just enough of everything To give it all What do hopes and dreams Bring Going from here to there Still remaining So unaware The darkness Shines so bright Maybe you should have realized You keep turning left When you should have been turning.... You should have Turned right Should have done.... Should have turned right [2nd v:] The sun rises Half awake Leaving you to wonder Step off Just what's at stake Can the rain Take away All of what you believe What you feel Is so much pain So caught up In the light of shining From the stars above When it can be enough When you just dropped Your golden cup Never fear Its what you create No one see's the hidden tear Its all in what you believe What you make others believe As long as they see What you want Just what you Just what you Want them to see.... To believe [2nd ch:] Night or day It all rounds out The same in every way The darkness is so bright Just enough light To see What you want to believe Just enough of everything To give it all What do hopes and dreams Bring Going from here to there Still remaining So unaware The darkness Shines so bright Maybe you should have realized You keep turning left When you should have been doing.... You should have Turned right Should have done.... Should have turned right Written: 1/16/2010 Inspired by: The One & Only.... when a song is born, its beginning from its birth created from so much emotion....it should be able to breathe and give life to others, so much , that it is felt! Not a cauldron with everything any one could reach for and threw in , and then believes it creates a masterpiece....not even close! Hence, George Michael's " Father Figure".... I was listening to it while I put this down.... many creations are born from those who poured out their emotions, and so well, they are actually felt and that, as I said, makes a masterpiece!
