Abide With Me*

Father, You are there,
when I run to your side.
Father, You are waiting,
with me to abide.

My weary head rests,
in your loving arms.
Your heavenly touch,
comforting all timeworn harms.

Father, You are there,
as I fall to my knees.
Father, You are waiting,
to hear all my pleas.

You tenderly collect each shining tear,
as if they were precious stones,
to fashion a righteous crown so dear,
to my heavenly home.
Isaiah 40:31 "but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength. They will soar on
wings like eagles; they will run and not grow
weary, they will walk and not be faint."
