Whispers Of God*

Your voice shouts as loud as the rising sun.
It cries as far as the rivers and seas as one.
Waxing and waning like the tides along the shore,
singing through the song of the birds once more.

Your voice can be felt in the day's hazy mist,
as it caresses a meadow's sleepy kiss.
A voice angry like thunder loudly intense,
or whisper soft through yielding trees bent.

It can be heard in the laughter of children's play,
in the melody of a mother's voice holding her own today.
It's there in the pride of a father's shinning eyes,
expressed in the excitement of a child's happy cries.

You vibrantly whisper a colorful autumn season,
followed by winter's plodding cold reason.
Help us hear the whispers carried in the wind,
listening for the message your heavens send.

Romans 1:20  "For since the creation of the world
God's invisible qualities—His eternal power and
divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood
from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."
