Never Spoken**

How could I even imagine your kingdom,
if I had never known Your word?
How could I imagine going there,
if I had never spoken to You in prayer?

Why would I want to be in heaven at all,
if I had never sung Your praises, great and small?
Why expect an eternity in Your presence,
if my earthly years with You were less than pleasant?

If the certainty of Hell,
is the only reason I desire Heaven,
what kind of Heaven would I design,
if the Savior I could not even find?

A Heaven without salvation or God, indeed,
would surely bare another name decreed.
Heaven or earth without our creator divine,
is a Hell I do not wish to find.

Acts 17:24  "The God who made the world
and everything in it is the Lord of heaven
and earth and does not live in temples
built by hands."
