Your Forgiving Eyes**

Lord, when I see Your beautiful face,
will I know my heavenly place?
Lord, when I look into Your forgiving eyes,
will I see the redemption Your mercy supplies?

Lord, do I see You in this earthly realm,
or does this barren land overwhelm?
Lord, do I know You as my shepherd, true,
putting my trust in none but You?

Lord, do I live to simply find my heavenly home,
or do I seek to bring others to Your almighty throne?
Lord, do I seek the pasture my shepherd gives,
or do I feed where little sustenance lives?

From the common ground we trod upon,
our shepherd leads with His sweet song,
guiding us through all our days,
with all the wisdom of His ways.

Ezekiel 34:11-12
For this is what the Sovereign Lord says,
"I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.
As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock
when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep.
I will rescue them from all the places where they
were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness."
