Journey You Lead**

Lord, do I pass the test you send each day,
to be part of your plan that has come my way?
A plan that keeps me reading your word,
going to where your knowledge is heard.

Do I do a good deed to somehow make things right,
canceling out all my wrongs in your sight,
or do I know only You can freely forgive,
dying on the cross that I might eternally live.

Knowing whatever faith is mine,
is all I need to be truly Thine.
Whatever is right or wrong in my heart,
is where faith and glory will make a fresh start.

So as the days surely come and go,
be with this humble wayward soul,
that I might follow the journey You lead,
instead of the path of my own misdeeds.

Zechariah 13:9 "This third I will bring into
the fire; I will refine them like silver and
test them like gold. They will call on my name
and I will answer them; I will say, They are my
people, and they will say, The Lord is our God."
