Remember The Rainbows**

Lord, I remember the rainbows,
you have sent my way,
those of my innermost heart,
and those of this inspiring day.

Telling my sister of another day's view,
explaining the colors were vibrant hue,
suddenly another cascade to see,
then two, then wondrously three!

Draping the mountains I have known so well,
counting half my years my story they tell,
spanning the hills both east and west,
crowned by His promise of everlasting rest.

One arc of promise follows us more,
glowing from the inside out heaven implores,
steady and bright shafts of eternal light,
our eyes blessed to view these colors of delight.

Lord, what grace you have given me,
this vision of your heaven's majesty,
to witness a panorama pure and bright,
never have these eyes seen such a sight!

Genesis 9:16  "Whenever the rainbow appears
in the clouds,I will see it and remember the
everlasting covenant between God and all
living creatures of every kind on the earth."
