Redemption's Wings**

He is there on a bright sunny morn,
or when there are skies with lightening torn.
When the land knows only peace,
and even yet when the days of war do not cease.

He is there on days of happiness and anticipation,
and in uncertain times of greatest desperation,
when the body thrives on the wonder of life,
or just drawing a breath is strife.

He is there when terror reigns high,
and when the honking geese soar to the sky,
when injustice rules the merciless day,
and even when heroes somehow find a way.

He is there when collisions tear and maim,
when another falls and laughing gets up again,
when times of want and hunger gnaw deep inside,
and when food everywhere abides.

Whatever any given day may bring,
He is there teaching our doubtful hearts to sing,
even though life comes with many strings,
He never leaves us without redemption's wings.

Luke 21:27-28 "And then they shall see the Son of man coming
in a cloud with power and great glory, and when these things
begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads, for your
redemption draws nigh."
