Your Saving Hand 03/24/2020

Lord, am I the worst selfish person You know.
Why does it matter to my redeemed soul?
What else could I want than eternal life,
freeing me from all of Satan's wicked device?

It all must be left behind in the past.
I cannot survive if Your grace does not last.
How can You offer us grace and mercy free,
if we keep hanging onto the same debris.

The beaches are clean with the whitest sand,
the waters glisten with Your saving hand.
Let me not sink in the deepest inviting wave,
without remembering Your love that saves.

Let me keep my head above the threatening tide,
that I may forever with You abide.
Give me courage to see what You still have planned,
let me strive to follow Your freeing commands.

Psalm 18:36 You have given me Your saving shield;
Your right hand has upheld me; Your favor made me
great.
