The meaning of love is found in many forms,
as in the willingness of a single woman,
who takes two small children not her own,
and gives them the security of a loving home.

It can be seen in the quiet yearly care,
of a mother that seems to waste away a little each day,
and in a daughter that knows she is truly blessed,
to have been given this enduring earthly test.

From the eyes of little ones that stand but two feet high,
looking up at the face of a man three times their size,
without a hint of worry, knowing there is nothing to fear,
their trust abounds as many of them draw near.

Then there is a man who gathers food from week to week,
for one brief moment bringing a congregation sweets to eat.
Doing more that his share throughout the days that follow,
always hurrying to bring what providence will allow.

A steadfast woman and friend stays by a mother's side,
the fate of her child the doctor's guided hands will decide,
as hour follows hour and their hearts pray for her to survive,
and time stands still til they know she's alive.

The friendship of those who sing her songs of inspiration,
some of which she has written in times of desperation.
Putting music to words that flow from an inner fountain,
and help others climb their own spiritual mountains.

John 15:12 "This is my commandment:  love one another as
I have loved you.
