Trials Of This World 03/2019
Lord, is the world worse now than then? Is knowing You just a place we might have been? Do we take time to face our own condemning sin, pointing to others to explain where we've been? Do we take our sorrow and throw it back at you, refusing to see Your mercy that sees us through? Horrors attack us from without and within, but we don't know where our salvation begins. We see the trials of this world so great, falling short on answers we still debate. Looking for peace outside Your heavenly gate, where we only find hollow words of hate. James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
