How Little I Have Grown 2009

Lord, I know of which I am made,
how little I have to even make the grade,
to make a difference in this world you give,
that others may wonder why in You I live.

I know how little I use each day,
of the gifts You have brought my way.
So much time when the gift is not touched,
set aside for worldly packages and such.

And when the gift again makes itself known,
I am fully aware of how little I have grown.
then heart and soul becomes achingly aware,
how I have never really begun to care.

Yet You use us where we go or stand,
within our undeserved lives He plans,
to show the earth from where He came,
and that salvation is only in His name.

Psalm 68:18  When You ascended on high,
You took many captives;
You received gifts from people,
even from the rebellious--
that You, Lord God, might dwell there.
