Hold Him Near**

Is there something you still hold,
that you have not put in His hands?
Something you think is yours alone,
not part of God's eternal plan?

Decisions are made, events fall in place,
and the work involved continues to race.
Futures are woven from the past,
and what is present was already cast.

Before we know it, life has been spent,
do we still whisper what has it all meant?
In giving it all to Him the meaning is clear,
each hour we have remembered to hold Him near.

Proverbs 5:10-12  "Lost strangers feast on your
wealth and your toils enrich another man's house.
At the end of your life you will groan, when your
flesh and body are spent.  You will say, "How I
hated discipline! How I spurned correction."
