Beyond And Over The Wall
[1st v:] Can you believe In all what you hear What you feel.... What you see Told so many lies To believe all of what May be true.... Its left all up To the common sense Just where you find yourself The truth is there Somewhere..... figure it out Its all in you Want to run and hide Want to rest and be found Want so much Building up to.... too much Bury it all So deep inside {1st ch:] Send out the call Perhaps Maybe Its heard Maxine runs back To Beyond and over the wall Sammi be true What What ever became.... Of you Leaving it all so far behind Memories erased On automatic rewind Understanding But now.... Just not anymore Knowing Those so far gone feelings Enough is enough After One too many hard falls Safer to remain Beyond and over the wall [2nd v:] Standing outside In the pouring rain While the clouds grow darker On the inside Served up a drink That drowns out The bright light To all of what You may think Reyna watches the dancing flame While her mind races To understand Why her feelings are going insane Johnnie boy Escape the truth By looking through a fantasy view That takes away All his joy Collapsing stairs create the fall How many build it How many Hide behind it.... Growing stronger Growing higher.... Safe.... beyond and over the wall [2nd v:] Sending out the call Perhaps Maybe Its heard Maxine runs back To Beyond and over the wall Sammi be true What What ever became Of you Leaving it all so far behind Memories erased On automatic rewind Understanding But now.... Just not anymore Knowing Those so far gone feelings Enough is enough After One too many hard falls Safer to remain Beyond and over the wall You may want to believe But you just won't let yourself Take another fall Better run And stay Beyond and over the wall Written: 7/17/2010 Inspired by ~ The turmoils so many endure { including myself}that eventually you just build up a wall around yourself, to keep safe....let your guard down and you'll wish you had, and will begin to build a stronger higher wall! Events as such, take time through our lives, and unfortunately, its easier to smile and play it off, then endure any more turmoil!
