And You Smile [1st v:] Sometimes We all look around See people smiling All the while We're walking through All our sorrows Falling on the ground Asking Wondering Just what does it take Why do we all Make so many Mistakes The I look to the side One who never thinks twice Has nothing to hide So calm....so serene Never angered Holds so much Never cruel....knows all of what it can mean After awhile Just one more glance There you go Say a word or two And you smile.... [1st ch] We take so much Everyday In our lives We sometimes miss out On that special touch Slow down Look around It can be happening In the most humble town One who knows more That their weight in gold They don't direct What they're living for You learn Yeah Sometimes....sometimes We wake up and then we know Not always do we need To boil over and burn Take your time It may take awhile But then suddenly.... It'll be you And you'll smile It'll be you And you'll smile [2nd v:] Can we all be that way Doubtful.... But That doesn't mean You can't try Try to bring a little more Happiness To your every night And....every day How do they do it They never bear anger in their Heart and mind Unfortunate events Oh well.... You'll get over it Do your best And drive No need to wonder why Certain ones Just stand out Way above the rest No.... Its not happening Holding on to nothing in the way Look over at you And you smile Its not going To be such a bad day As long as I laugh Every Every day More and more Unhappiness is cut more Than just in half How's it going Its alright Just alright.... It'll be you And you'll smile It'll be you And you'll smile Written: 1/24/2009 ~ Inspired by my friend/ co-worker, Jared....he is so unique, more so than the many people I have known....a person under extreme pressure [ moments at work ] and can keep smiling....always wants to sing or say things to make others laugh....he lives life so care free [ has not a whole lot, but works hard for what he and his family do have, and always appreciates everything ],  is always happy....never frowns, and hides nothing....when I am in a bad mood I can just glance over at him, and he'll do or say something to make me laugh, never fails! But the pure persona is amazing, there is no cover letter to this person....if every one could be and feel like him, we would all have better days.... Once I just had to ask, " Don't you ever get mad? " he tried to fake a frown then smiled and laughed, saying " Nah....why bother ? " ~
