A Few Simple Words 2000 Lord, if I should want You near,
I know that I need never fear,
for You are never far away,
no matter how long or tiring the day.
All that's needed are a few simple words,
not even the most glorious ever heard,
to feel Your presence in any place,
using words that are spiritually based.
Words as pure as forgiveness and salvation,
granted to all the members of Your Holy Nation.
Faith is all anyone needs to bring,
You close and make a tired soul sing.
