Crystal Diamond Staircase[1st v:] Look around One last time Only to finally Accept And realize You're the only one in line Your music plays As you walk in stride Keeping it real Staying true Never bearing.... False pride [1st ch:] Wanting so much That others could care less about But what lived in my heart Required that special touch Little given At such a high price But....somehow Without those gifts.... I would never have gone on living Parts of me More than once Twice....thrice Why were my ideas Too much to ask It required so little Sinking faster Never above.... Sure not in the middle The answer came More than once Seeing each outline Of the secret face Only too late Tomorrow is gone Slowly climbing The crystal diamond staircase [2nd v:] So sad To realize so much Too much Feeling o.k. Only to now feel So bad The pain grows Only hiding Now and then Appearing in time....again To awaken the heart With torment....
