~*~ Silver Or Gold ~*~
[1st v:] In time We all chose Wrong from right Sometimes give in After the long drawn battle Chose to bend....rather Than continue the fight Some chose the warmth To ignite their emotions That have grown so cold Just like the spiritual ones Chose silver to remain grounded And those who Need.... Chose gold Silver helps you to see it all Understand That every door opens Down the very long hall Gold creates desire That always needs more material To create that fire [1st ch:] So time to stop And think Which way do we now go Or do you just suddenly Drop Give it just a little more Or tear off Running for the door Need a pill To control who someone else Needs or wants you to be Need one too many drinks Just because You want your mind To cease to think What shines in warmth Is silver So much more.... You'll see Then the constant desire In chilled gold Is over done....like always Before [2nd v:] The elevator goes up Although You're still down Its all spilling over You've poured too much In to such a small china cup Sail away in a Caribbean dream Thoughts on the run With many a pirates choice of drink Jamaican or Puerto Rican rum Love and anger Can ignite So sharp and fired up Like a cold steel gun Ride through the rough tide Always keep your eyes And mind....opened Wide The balance is there Don't ignore What is all around....everywhere [2nd ch:] So time to stop And think Which way do we now go Or do you just suddenly Drop Give it just a little more Or tear off Running for the door Need a pill To control who someone else Needs or wants you to be Need one too many drinks Just because You want your mind To cease to think What shines in warmth Is silver So much more....
