In All Things Praise Him!**

I work the whole day through,
each day the same work to do.
When I feel I can give no more I hear,
"In all things praise Him," once more.

When others fling harsh words my way,
I am tempted to answer the same as they.
Then to my unyielding heart a message comes in,
through life's vengefulness, "In all things praise Him."

When dreams of life as I think it should be,
are somehow shadowed by today's reality,
and I am reluctant to accept what has come my way,
"In all things praise Him," opens my heart this day.

When the food of the body, no longer satisfies the soul,
and the appetite of the mind gags on the old,
with nothing to be found to replenish again,
I listen and hear, "In all things praise Him!"

1 Peter 4:11 "If anyone speaks, he should do
it as one speaking the very words of God. If
anyone serves, he should do it with the strength
God provides, so that in all things God may be
praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory
and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
