 Re-inventing the Wheel

Perhaps we are pursuing the wrong shapes,
for our vehicles,
just ask any average alien and you will see,
that all we really need is only one wheel,
for our cars,
thereby rendering useless the other three,

We may have to learn more about levitation,
anti-gravitation,
or other extra-terrestrial transport devices,
so we can also travel at the speed of light,
like they do,
from here to over there as the need arises,

We could glide among the stars with ease,
like a frisbee,
even go shopping on Mars if we please,
We could fly around in splendor and style,
go for a Sunday drive; or,
putt putt throughout the galaxy for awhile,

Imagine Toyota making out-of-this world deals,
Selling flying cars minus three of the wheels.
