Keep My Soul Strong**

Lord, I don't know if I spoke to You this week,
so many who need prayers and I did not speak,
finding myself with worldly chores,
searching little for my spiritual core.

Physical tiredness mounts day to day,
not recognizing its pressing weight,
keeping commitments of work and play,
as weariness somehow taunts and berates.

Lord, if I desire to keep my soul strong,
let me not forget to praise You in song.
Lord, if I desire to rise above this troubled earth,
humble me in prayer that I know your worth.

Lord, help me to remember You each day divine,
that my burdens much lighter I might find,
and walking upon the path that you lead,
from my weariness I may be freed.

increases the power of the weak."
