I Fell In Love With Jesus**

I fell in love with Jesus,
it didn't matter any more,
the pain of all my yesterday's,
the hurt that came before.

Other words that I had followed,
the hopes I had believed,
the earthly love that held me,
allowing me to be deceived.

Many miles driven to find my way,
when the search within me always lay.
Cars could never life's miles restore,
or the keys to my front door.

A house I always dreamed of,
had seemed like death to me.
A blessing now in the shelter,
of Jesus the Nazarene.

He is there in times of trial,
fulfilling today's limitless dreams.
Through redemption's bitter mile,
surpassing any earthly kings.

receives; he who seeks finds; and
to him who knocks, the door will
be opened."
