In To The Night
[1st v:] She walks down Upon The cold Stone steps In to the night When visions Take flight She goes in to The darkness Silence All....around Able to see In to the night Stop and stare She is so Very well aware Not all is right Because She has always known Everything Is now more clear When she steps.... In to the night [1st ch:] No matter Where she goes There is always A way For the spiritual light To find her Whisper high Whisper light Always Always Around Taking her away In to the night No need To pretend You don't hear No need And you Pretend Not to hear All of what is said And done Memories live on Like smoldering smoke Swirling around in your head Just too much Leaving one To be lost in the dust Of Some spiritual Cruel joke [2nd v:] So So cold Standing by the sea The moon Full And aglow Knowing....forever What she just Doesn't want To....know It's not happening It's all Just A dream Fabricated From her torn emotions Dressed in black To mirror No affection To no....devotion The frozen wind Captures The image Of her soul Driven on To resemble The tundra Vacant.... Never was The goal Time travels on Through All lies Still she is virtually Visible But deep inside She so long ago.... Disappeared She died Her spirit hides From the light Only visible When she steps In to the night [2nd ch:] No matter Where she goes There is always A way For spiritual light To find her Whisper high Whisper light Always Always Around Taking you away In to the night No need To pretend You don't hear No need And you Pretend Not to hear All of what is said And done Memories live on Like smoldering smoke Swirling in your head Just too much Leaving one To be lost in the dust Of Some spiritual Cruel joke [close] The midnight mist Covers the darkened Grounds Never again Would she allow A single memory To appear She now again Turns away Only Her instinct To follow Written : 11/16/2007
