Our Victory**

Lord, how often I have brought to mind,
the things I have done that are entwined,
with the very life I now try to live,
and the regrets that still hold me captive.

The more I try to forget what's past,
the more the wrongs seem to amass,
haunting me far into the night,
wanting them to somehow take flight.

Tell me again that my sins are no more,
no longer remembered as before,
that I will never be charged against,
because my sins have been dispensed.

Help me to no longer desire my sinful ways,
wanting only to follow You the rest of my days,
passing on the truth You have planted in me,
that the Savior has won our victory.

Isaiah 43:25  "I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions, for my own sake, and
remembers your sins no more."
Romans 4:7-8  "How blessed are those whose
iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are
covered!  How blessed is the person whose
sins the Lord will never charge against him!"
