Close Your Eyes.......Dream Your Dream
[ opening] Close your eyes Dream your dream Close your eyes Feel serene [1st v:] Soon it's all clear The truth Explodes in to larger than life Lies.... What happened You can't You don't understand You try But become more confused And begin to drown In your tears What happened is All for you feared Tremble....cry....run You stumble.... Only to crumble Then fall It's not happening.... Not to you Reality hits in to the wall [1st ch:] Coldness of winters air Comforts the pain That has numbed you To where You just don't care Close your eyes Dream the dream Breathe in Pretend it will be All right Close your eyes Dream a dream To come back true You open your eyes To only see Lifeless pictures Staring back At you Its not your fault People chose....then do What they want to do Leaving love shattered In tears Haunting Through the years [2nd v:] Darkness falls Comfort finds you In pieces From a love That you thought was Real....forever And true Fire in time Warms your soul Pick up the pieces Off the ground Hold on tight Move on Even though Its just not.... Quite right Get up And go Frozen in time It happened before You knew it.... Be careful What you wish for It just Might come true.... You let your heart Take you away Smile down Fly above the oceans blue Find the love and peace All so true [2nd ch:] Close your eyes Dream the dream Close your eyes Peace and serene Coldness of winters air Comforts the pain That has numbed you To where You just don't care Close your eyes Dream your dream Breathe in Pretend it will be All right Dream a dream To come back true You open your eyes To only see Lifeless pictures Staring back at you Its not your fault People chose....then do What they want to do Leaving love shattered In tears Haunting Through the years [close out ] Comfort Your crying heart Become a ghost From the past Find your way To someone Who knows How you feel She was there....
