Transcended 01/24/2004
Something happens as I sing the glorious words that around me ring. My soul turns itself over to the glory of Your words, filling me with the sweetest message I have ever heard. I am captured heart and soul by words sung soft and low, drawn unto Your topmost boughs by words sung high and proud. Transcended to Your heavenly plains, where You eternally reign. The flesh cannot remain aloft, but for only minutes not oft. Glimpses of a heavenly home, from which redeemed souls never roam. Words that fill my heart with peace, from this world brings release. Holding a promise of an eternal abode, within Your Kingdom glory told. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
