Breathe In Me 02/14/2020 Lord, I have not always given my all to You,
Still, I held fast to keep You near.
You gave me a gift never imagined.
I strive to give You all I am.
Your gift of words surely brought me back,
showing me how much I almost lost.
Your gift of written prayers and undying love,
giving me your unending grace and mercy.
I do not claim the words You breathe in me,
that flow in the work of Your hand.
My Faith left me in a barren land,
where I could barely stand.
I am no longer afraid when You come near,
all I am has been laid before You redeemed.
Let me not find more hiding places unneeded,
as I walk before You one of Your saved.
Psalm 39:6 To be sure, You establish the expanse
of my days; indeed, my life is as nothing before
You. Every man is but a breath.
