A Moment In Time 07/1992

I see the beauty of life all around,
the sounds of reality abound.
I breathe the air that says I live,
all that I am I must give.

I am given a moment in endless time,
I dare not claim once speck of dust as mine.
There is nothing here that belongs to me,
yet I am part of all that I see.

Oceans, rivers, valleys, and streams,
are all part of this earth's dreams.
Mountains, rocks, flower, and trees,
are only wisps of an invisible breeze.

It is all ours for only a moment in time,
to try to possess it is our only crime.
It is granted free to all who pass life's doors,
we are asked only to leave it better than before.

Isaiah 49:8  Thus says the Lord: In a time of favor
I answer you, on the day of salvation I help you;
as a covenant for the people, To restore the land
and allot the devastated heritages,
