Friendships Dance 09/06/99

Friendship starts by pure chance,
growing like tender seedling plants.
Running deeper than any lover's passion,
stronger than any armor fashioned.

Finding you when you are quite unawares
it often lays your soul open and bare.
Touching you like a skaters dance,
first up close, then just a glance.

Waxing and waning as time marches on,
building to a crescendo before finishing it's song.
The medley still lingers, though the music has fled.
you know how surely your souls are wed.

Years continue to come and go,
confirming what you both already know.
that bonds of friendship will always remain,
bringing with it all life's gains.

Proverbs 18:24  There are friends that bring
ruin, but there are friends more loyal than
a brother.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 "If one falls, the other will
help the fallen one".
