Inner Light 04/07/1974

A fire glows with glorious brightness,
as does my soul within.
My eyes seek its aching brilliance,
and desire its painful healing.

Without attention the flames will die,
fuel must be found to keep them alive.
Kindle and re-kindle the flame within,
from the only eternal flame that has
ever been.

Build an ever burning fire inside the soul,
to feed the eternal flame.
Live not in mankind's fireless world,
where darkness ever reigns.

Psalm 18:29  For You Lord give light to
my lamp, My God brightens my darkness.
