Manna Manna 2009

No meat, no meat, we're tired of manna to eat,
so God sent the quail 'til they were knee deep.
Still they wanted more, wanting things as before,
back to the bondage where there was food galore!

No Moses, no Moses, forty days he's gone away.
Give us a god we can see, to whom we can pray.
Golden calf, golden calf, come forth from the fire,
we'll dance and sing in sin's evil desire.

Broken stones, broken stones at their feet.
Moses melted the golden calf, for them to eat.
Flashing swords, flashing swords, Israel restored,
three thousand dead in the presence of the Lord.

John 6:58 "This is the bread that came down from
heaven.  Your forefathers ate manna and died,
but he who feeds on this bread will live
Forever."
