That Brighter Day**

If Your spirit dwells within,
where does this dwelling place begin?
Not in the goodness of any man born,
save the one from heaven torn.

His spirit sent with us to abide,
after taking sin's place He resides.
To strengthen and comfort along the way,
directing us to that brighter day.

A day where only light resides,
from an earth that seeks to divide.
Where darkness of sin is all it provides,
a light piercing the souls that
still wait to decide.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean
heart Oh God, and renew a
steadfast heart within me.
