Stop Looking Back**04/1993 Lord, if I could only stop dreaming,
of life according to my own plans,
I might understand this life,
is shaped by Your Almighty Hand.
Lord, if I could stop looking back,
at the past to change today,
I might understand looking back,
is not where I should delay.
Lord, if I could stop seeing where I am,
as a place I have to escape,
I might see where I am today,
as a place where I was meant to stay.
For then I would clearly see,
Your eternal plan designed just for me,
A plan created at the beginning of time,
where its need for God first became mine.
Phillipians 3:13-14 "I do not consider
myself yet to have taken hold of it.
But one thing I do: forgetting what was
behind and straining toward what is ahead,
I press on toward the goal to win the prize
for which God has called me heavenward in
Christ Jesus.
