Wisdom Of The Ages**

The days have come and gone,
while the years have followed along.
One more person has sung their last song,
while others stay behind not so strong.

The same years are adding to their own,
childhood memories long since flown.
Knowing that the year they are destined to leave,
all too soon will cause others to grieve.

Yet, grief and sorrow has many degrees,
what one person feels another does not see,
sadness spilling from damaged souls,
not always visible as the eye beholds.

Some see passing through the eyes of defeat,
while others see it only as eternity's retreat.
Yet, loss need not follow with bitter sorrow,
or fear of an ever nearing tomorrow.

For as sure as we are born into this world anew,
we will enter the next as eternity views,
perfected through our Lord's sacrifice divine,
to save all imperfect soul's like mine.

1 Corinthians 2:6-8  "We do, however, speak a
message of wisdom among the mature, but not
the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this
age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of
God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden
and that God destined for our glory before time
began. None of the rulers of this age understood
it, for if they had, they would not have crucified
the Lord of glory."
